Welcome to the fourth installment of our comprehensive Strategy Toolkit series. This framework introduces you to the Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG), a strategic business statement tool. This framework is created to focus an organization on a single medium- to long-term organization-wide goal which is audacious, likely to be externally questionable, but not internally regarded as impossible. It is a goal that is so bold and ambitious that it requires the organization to stretch beyond its current capabilities in order to achieve it.
